Delivery Policy

TJ’S FURNITURE & APPLIANCES DELIVERY POLICY

PLEASE NOTE:

TJ’s Furniture Online Ltd organize delivery from Auckland on your behalf once goods are with the transport company they are out of our control, all relevant contact numbers etc will be emailed to you, from that point any communication on delivery status etc is between you the buyer and the transport company.  We do have some pretty sharp compeditive freight prices which we pass directly onto you our customers.

 

1.     a. For delivery of furniture allow  3-5 business days approx once the item has been dispatched. (Delivery to Rural Addresses normally takes an extra 1-2 business days) this does not take into account NZ made suites as these can take 10 - 15 working days to make then the 3-5 working days delivery time.

 

 

 2.     b. All furniture is shipped using either TJ's own staff or a third party freight company.

 

 

 3.     c. Orders placed on a New Zealand public holiday will be processed on the next business day.

 

 

 4.     d. Orders paid for by credit card are securely processed using "paymate".
NOTE: VISA, MasterCard, credit cards are accepted however an additional 4% on the total amount will be added for fees.

 

 

 5.     e. Orders paid for using Direct Credit / Internet Banking or Bank Transfer will be shipped upon confirmation that your payment has been cleared in our account. Payments normally take around 24 hours to reach our bank account.

 

 

 6.     f.  As TJ's use a third party freight company for most out of Auckland deliveries we cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery.

 

 

 

Door to Door Standard Delivery: 

 

 1.     a. Furniture is delivered securely to your doorstep only, by TJ's or third party freight company.

 

 

 2.     b. Door to door standard delivery service requires easy access to ground level only. (no stairs)

 

 

 3.     c.Customer assistance may be required at time of standard delivery for heavier items as requested by delivery crew.

 

 

 4.     d. Extra charges will apply for all non-standard deliveries and must be organized and paid for in advance.

 

 

 5.     e. Unless otherwise stated all deliveries are made between Monday & Saturday  Sunday delivery by arrangement only.

 

 6.     f.. You MUST notify us within 24hrs of any internal or external damages to your goods. Call  (09) 390 4380 or 021 267 4380  (leave a voice message if no reply) or email:

 7.     g. We will not assembled any goods this is the responsibility of the customer.

 8.   h. The delivery crew will NOT move, shift, help to move any existing furniture.

 9.   i.   If an additional man is required this will result in an additional charge all deliveries quoted are for a door to door standard delivery with one man only. 

 

 Rural Deliveries:

 

All Rural Deliveries will incur an additional charge per km in and out from the nearest main highway.

 

 

NOTE:

 

Delivery to Rural addresses normally takes an extra 1-2 business days.

 

 Please ensure you have given your name,  delivery address and a contact number so the delivery driver can call you prior to delivery this is important as no contact will result in a delay with your delivery.
